I am Safaa Dawood, rooted in a land that embraced an ancient civilization. My writing draws inspiration from the depths of human experience and from the spirit of the Nile, which has remained throughout the ages a symbol of life, renewal, and inspiration.
I write poetry and literary pieces that reflect on the human being in moments of vulnerability and strength, pain and hope, and in the enduring search for peace and meaning. I believe that words possess a power that transcends the boundaries of language—a single word can touch a heart, awaken a soul, or illuminate a path in the darkness that we could not see before.
In my writing, I like to see life as a vast garden, where roses bloom despite the harshness of the seasons, and thorns remind us that beauty does not always come without pain. To me, the rose is more than beauty; it is a symbol of the human being who can grow, blossom, and give fragrance despite the wounds they have endured.
For me, writing is more than an aesthetic expression; it is a message and an inward journey—a journey in which I search for the light within the human being, for the meaning that is sometimes born from pain, and for the hope that resembles a small rose determined to bloom, no matter how long the night may last.
